India win Asia Cup hockey, Pakistan clinch third spot

Indian Men's Hockey Team were delegated Asia Cup 2017 Champions after they beat Malaysia 2-1 in the last of the competition at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday, Asian Hockey Federation detailed.

Objectives from Ramandeep Singh (3′) and Lalit Upadhyay (29′) secured the title for India as Malaysia neglected to have an effect on the amusement in the beginning times however returned with a lone objective through Shahril Saabah (50′).

This is the third time that India have won the Asia Cup title and following a hole of 10 years.

Prior, Pakistan group was in their actual components as they clinically devastated the Korean side 6-3 to end their Asia Cup 2017 battle with a Bronze Medal.
