New NAB chief slams Shahbaz Sharif over graft charges

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau Chairman resigned Justice Javed Iqbal on Friday censured Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for calling NAB a 'degenerate association'.

As indicated by a private TV channel, the NAB boss pummeled the Punjab boss priest and said that the individuals who now called NAB a degenerate association had at long last opened their eyes to the scourge of defilement. For what reason would they be able to watch and end the scourge when they were in control, the NAB boss inquired.

Equity Iqbal was made NAB boss on Oct 8 after Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah achieved agreement on the issue.

"What's the goal of calling NAB a degenerate association exactly when its new administrator has assumed control charge?" he inquired.

He said NAB had assumed a critical part in disposing of defilement from the nation, including that he would embrace a zero resistance strategy towards degenerate authorities.

The Punjab boss clergyman had on Thursday claimed that NAB was the most degenerate association of the nation and that it was being utilized for political purposes.

Mr Sharif made the comments after previous PM Nawaz Sharif, his little girl Maryam and child in-law resigned Capt Safdar were prosecuted in a NAB reference on the charges of debasement.
